Veteran NYC Interior Designer Now Adorns Bodies Instead of Rooms. Doryn Wallach announces the launch of her first fine jewelry collection, Doryn Wallach Jewelry.

Translating her unique and celebrated interior design aesthetic into fine jewelry, the 21-piece premiere collection is comprised of Art Deco & Hollywood Regency inspired necklaces, bracelets, earrings and rings, which will retail between $1,400 and $15,000 at dorynwallach.com and at fine jewelers in the Northeast, soon.

Doryn’s interior design background lends a stylized aesthetic to her jewels showcasing her love for Art Deco style, vintage accessories and a bygone era of glamor. When designing she relies heavily on strong shapes, texture and a use of negative space. The debut collection features designs in 18 karat gold with a satin finish surrounding Art Deco-inspired gems like black onyx, turquoise, black and white diamonds and other fine gemstones.

A working mother of two young children, Doryn understands the needs of modern women. “Clothes have become less important to me, but even if I run out in all-black, I always put on a couple pieces of jewelry,” she says. “I purposely designed pieces to stand on their Each piece in the collection is designed to make a statement, whether on the red carpet or worn every day. Aimed at today’s stylish woman, the look is classic, but at the same time contemporary and edgy.

Doryn Wallach Jewelry is also making a statement about giving back. In 2013, Doryn and her family watched as Hurricane Sandy flooded their house with almost 5 feet of water. As a result of this life-changing experience, a percentage of proceeds from annual sales will be donated to Habitat For Humanity’s Disaster Response program.

After nearly two decades as an interior designer, Doryn Wallach has channeled her talent for creation to fine jewelry. Her premiere collection comes together after several years of redesigning older jewelry pieces given to her as a young adult from family members, as well as studies at the Gemological Institute of America, Jewelry Arts Institute and International School of Gemology. The designs reflect her love of Art Deco & Hollywood Regency interior décor and architecture as well as her own eclectic style.
